Developing Student Competencies Through Business Simulations

On Thursday, April 21 we held this webinar where we discussed innovative ways of developing student competencies through business simulations. 

We were joined by Shauna Jones from Simon Fraser University and Renata Schaefer from Sonoma State University to look at examples in Higher Education in Canada and USA.

We covered a range of topics and themes including:

• Developing students' core competencies and graduate attributes in Higher Education
• How Business Simulations develop student competencies
• Integrating simulations with class assignments and program assessment
• The importance of coaching students throughout simulation exercises
• Enabling student-led learning and experiential education
