In the second instalment of the Edumundo webinar series "Deans' Den" Dr Peter Wolstencroft of the Liverpool Business School at Liverpool John Moores University discusses how and why the decision was made to deploy business simulations across the entire business school through a strategic partnership. The benefits is has had on the student experience, teacher and the leadership are outlined along with a few useful tips for leaders in education. Outcomes for students, opportunities for academics development and areas to grow into for leadership are addressed throughout. He then explains how quantitative data and qualitative information has supported the decision and the way the school has leveraged a strategic partnership with Edumundo to maximise the impact having business simulations across the business school has had. The role of the teacher in a modern classroom is analysed in depth and how student expectations are changing. The institutional shift in how higher education needs to be assessed. Peter discusses the challenges and gives some of his tips on being a leader in education.
